About Northern Noise Department.
It is good to stop every now and then and think about which dreams in life could still be turned into reality, and which ones will probably remain dreams.
Through a series of random turns, I ended up founding my own imaginary record label. Or, well, what is imaginary and what is not? It has no business ID and no actual business operations, but it is still something concrete. Maybe a form of play.
Ever since I was young, I have been making demos, riffs and song ideas. Now, with AI, I have set myself a goal: to finish as many of them as possible and bring them close to the way I originally imagined them.
Going through old drawer material one song at a time is a wonderful thing. Behind every song there are stories and emotions that take me back to some half-forgotten moment. It is a strange and fascinating excavation project.
Music was once a serious hobby for me. I played in bands, wrote songs, rehearsed and performed live. Later on, playing gradually faded into occasional projects.
This particular path was left unfinished. I would have liked to become a songwriter and lyricist for other artists as well. At the time, I was not able to put enough focus into that. Then life brought other things along, and that road was left behind. And that is perfectly fine. I regret nothing.
But my current life situation and today's technology make this a kind of low-hanging dream. As long as the goal is not money, but happiness, curiosity and joy.
And still, you never know. Maybe one of these songs will still find the right artist someday.
